meet megan

With over 10 years of apparel design education and professional sewing experience,  Megan specializes in bridal, formal, women's ready-to-wear alterations, and design pedagogy. 

 

Throughout her career, Megan has participated in countless fashion shows and professional exhibitions; worked professionally in bridal and formal alterations studios across the country; instructed apparel design and related courses at the university level; and holds both a B.S. and M.S. degree in apparel, textiles, merchandising, and design. She is currently a PhD candidate in Apparel, Merchandising and Design at Iowa State University. 

 

From basic garment construction to couture techniques; flat patternmaking and draping; creative research and fashion collection development, and much more, Megan possesses the skills to make any dream a reality.
